As a member of industry networks and a partner of numerous schools and universities, we are actively committed to building a sustainable future for the OstWestfalenLippe region, where our German headquarters is located. As part of a unified approach, we have joined with other mechanical engineering companies in the region to ensure that OstWestfalenLippe retains its position as a leading European centre of mechanical engineering on the international stage.

It's OWL – industry 4.0 for OstWestfalenLippe

174 companies, universities and other partners are working together within the framework of the regional technology network “Intelligente Technische Systeme OstWestfalenLippe” to develop a joint strategy for maintaining the leading position of the OstWestfalenLippe region – the home of the company in Germany - amongst the global competition.

it's OWL is recognised as a cluster of excellence by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and is currently working on the development of intelligent technical systems within 46 different research projects. As a partner in the network, we are actively involved in several of these research initiatives and through them, make an important contribution to innovation in the area of Industry 4.0.


As a member of the Verband Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbauer (German Engineering Association), we help to shape the engineering sector in Germany, with a particular focus on issues and topics pertaining to the compressed air sector.

Food-Processing Initiative e.V.
